Amore
AMORE: desire, humor, and second chances
The writer Pablo Wessling, known for his agile, ironic style with a provocative edge, presents AMORE, a novel as fun as it is spicy about the desire to love… and to do it again. With echoes of Valeria, but featuring male protagonists and a more carefree tone, AMORE is a collective story of loves, exes, messes, and redemptions in the key of contemporary romantic comedy.
Between chance encounters, messages that disappear, and kisses that change everything, AMORE talks about what happens when desire and affection mix, when the past calls unexpectedly, and when love sometimes arrives just when you had stopped looking for it.
An addictive, bright, and boldly sexy read.
“If you got hooked on Valeria or Smiley, here’s your new obsession.”
“A story about love… and everything that happens before it begins.”
Synopsis
They call me Amore, not because it’s my name, but because one day in class I got that nickname. It’s ironic, because amore has always been my weak spot. I’ve only had one boyfriend… and he cheated on me. The night I found out I hit rock bottom, but it was also the beginning: I met Camilo, Fran, and Edu, a waiter, a cop, and a straight guy who, without looking for it, became my new best friends. The problem was that I ended up falling in love with one of them. Can you guess which one? Exactly. This is my story: a modern tragicomedy about ex-boyfriends, new friends, unfinished dreams, and a word that is my cross… and my best ally: Amore.
