Crónicas inenarrables
Crónicas inenarrables is a LGTBIQ+ youth novel set in a village near Barcelona during the 1960s. Miguel, its young protagonist, dreams of becoming an artist in a time when feeling different could be dangerous. Through art, friendship, and the discovery of desire, Miguel finds his path and his identity.
With a sensitive and moving narrative, Javier Comas portrays a story of personal growth in a hostile environment, where human support and respect for one’s own feelings become key.
The novel was awarded the Todo Mejora 2024 Prize for LGTBIQ+ youth literature, granted by Kabo-Bero Ediciones and It Gets Better España, for its value as a testimony of memory, diversity, and resistance.
