Rock 'n' Roll Star!
Rock 'n' Roll Star! documents the birth of the Ziggy Stardust myth between 1971 and 1972, and the process that led Bowie to create one of the most influential figures in rock. This vinyl edition covers everything from home demos and rehearsals at Haddon Hall to recordings with The Arnold Corns and powerful live performances, including tracks from the legendary concert in Boston on October 1, 1972.
The album includes unreleased rarities, alternative versions, and new mixes made by Ken Scott, producer of the original record The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. An intimate and electric look at Ziggy’s rise, with sessions for the BBC, television appearances, and cult singles that marked an era.
