Las intermitencias de los infinitos lésbicos: Relaciones de género entre lesbianas
How do lesbian women relate to each other? What are the causes of their invisibility? This essay seeks to answer these questions through an in-depth study.
From situated knowledge, this feminist autoethnography gives voice to a group of lesbian women. From their perspective, the author, in the first person, both singular and plural, strives to delve into different facets of this world to analyze how lesbians build and behave in their romantic relationships. To do this, she starts from a common feeling of discomfort found both in her own experience and in the stories of some of those who participate with her in this research. Her purpose – for which she uses interviews, informal conversations, discourse analysis, descriptions of specific scenes, and even stories – is to understand and explain why she often detects gendered power relations in a context where it is difficult for the structural superiority of men over women to develop, if by this we understand "gender".
