About the author:
Jacky from Crimen y Rímel (@crimenyrimel) is a content creator specializing in true crime, dark history, macabre culture, and unsettling stories. Her fascination with the dark comes from a very personal mix of references: the Addams Family, Tales from the Crypt, old horror websites, Catholic imagery, and the stories she heard from her grandmother. After moving to London and delving into the country's dark history, she began sharing that universe with her own voice, blending documentary, irony, and theatricality.
Crimen y Rímel was born in 2021 as a form of creative therapy, but it was in 2023 when Jacky started publishing content on social media. Since then, the project has grown into a recognizable community within Spanish-language true crime. In 2025 it became a central part of her work, and from there she has taken her universe beyond social media, creating a true crime show that mixes drag, comedy, and cabaret.
