The debut of Turista Sueca is a one-way ticket to contemporary pop delirium: a budget flight to all that we usually do not say out loud, with turbulence of dark humor, neurodivergence, popular culture, emotional precariousness, and a desire to burn the rulebook of normality.
In this first album, Turista Sueca turns her obsessions into sing-along anthems that are tremendously catchy. From the generational confession of “I Have ADHD” to the emotional kidnapping of “Stockholm Syndrome”, passing through the twisted fan universe of “Aitana O’Caña”, each song works as a postcard sent from an uncomfortable but hilarious place, where irony coexists with vulnerability and laughter is a legitimate survival mechanism.
Recorded with an independent spirit and sharp wit, the album blends pop, electronic music, and nods to hyperpop and meme culture, building a unique sound that starts as a joke and stays serious. It includes unreleased collaborations that amplify the play of voices and characters in the project and complete the feeling of entering a small musical sect where nothing is accidental and everything is sung.
