Ruud Delagrange arrives in Paris on a winter day when the streets are covered with gray snow.
Recently joined to Industrias d'Arsonval, the largest company in the country, he faces a harsh reality: a city shaken by strikes and a constant battle against the pain consuming his body. However, Ruud’s gray existence takes a complete turn after the appearance of an enigmatic young man named Mika. Mika has cold hands and bellows instead of lungs, but above all, he has a dream: to fly. He wants to build a small airplane, cross the layer of pollution clouds, and leave the city without spring.
